Our journey took off when Dr. Shamanur Shivashankarappa, the present MLA and former Minister founded Bapuji Dental College and Hospital in the year 1979. He vigilantly attracted the best talents to build this world class Institution. these talented Faculties filled the spirit of world class education in this world class infrastructure.
The College is headed by Dr.K.Sadashiva Shetty, Director, Leading Orthodontist-an academician driven with ethics and moved by the burning desire to excel.
The College started to offer BDS in the year 1979. After getting recognition from DCI in 1984, MDS courses were launched in 1985 covering all specialties. Both the courses are recognized by DCI. The College was accredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC twice. It has ISO 9001:2008 certification also. The various National level Surveys have always vouched for this claim of superiority by placing us in the top rungs. The College is offering one year Implantology Course. CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography ) and Comprehensive Dental Clinic have been introduced as an answer to the quick Dental Care demands. Bapuji Digital Dentistry provides innovative digital solution. CAD CAM is the unique platform which provides flexibility in all the digital treatment modalities.
