GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, Mysuru was established in 2003 due to the initiative and vision of Late. Prof. B.S.Pandit former Professor, from SJCE Mysuru, with the objective of giving women empowerment. The College offers 5 UG courses in ECE, CSE, ISE, EEE and AI & ML, 3 PG Courses in M.Tech CSE, M.Tech DCN and MBA and offers Research Programs in all the departments. The institution has been accredited with GRADE “A” by the National Accreditation and Assessment Committee (NAAC) and the departments of ECE, CSE, ISE and TE are Accredited by NBA , New Delhi upto June 2023. Students have secured University ranks and received gold medals in the university examinations. Out of the total faculties working in our institute, 30 of them are having doctorate degree who have created an ecosystem for innovation including Incubation Centre, IPR Cell, Institution Innovation Council, Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), Robotics and IoT Labs. The students are familiar with Outcome Based Education (OBE) and practice lifelong learning as an outcome of OBE.
