JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE) was established in the year 1997 at Bengaluru and is under the umbrella of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysuru. It is the sister Institute of Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering (SJCE) Mysuru. The campus is located on a sprawling 21.17 acres land surrounded by lush green plantation on the south-western edge of Bengaluru city. The Institution is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belagavi and also approved by AICTE, New Delhi. All the UG programs are accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. Recognized under 2(f) University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi and also recognized by Government of Karnataka. Karnataka State Cricket Association, Bengaluru has recognized the Institute cricket ground as one of the best turf grounds in Karnataka. Main library presently housed in two floors of the college ‘B’ block with 2018.18-sq.mts.carpet area. Railway stations near to college are Kengeri (3KM) and KSR Bengaluru Railway station (14KM).
