K.N.S Institute of technology was established in the year 2001 by Sri C.K Jaffer Sharief, Former Union Railway Minister, Govt. of India and it was inaugurated on 17th October 2002 in the presence of Shri Late Dr. Raja Ramanna a renowned Scientist of World reputed and first chairman of KNSIT Governing council, Dr. Natarajan former Chairman AICTE, New Delhi and Dr.K.Balaveera Reddy, former Vice-Chancellor Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.

KNSIT is built on a sprawling 20 acres campus with Superior infrastructure. The vibrant campus of the institution was designed to give more learning space to students. Separate blocks for every department are superior in architecture. The college provides state-of-art infrastructure laboratories, spacious seminar halls and modern classrooms with LCD projectors.

The campus is well-equipped with facilities that give pleasant and homely environment for learning like cafeteria, separate hostel for boys and girls, bank, ATM, medical and GYM facilities. Also the campus has Indoor and outdoor playgrounds.

The active as well successful training and placement cell and internal quality assurance cell guarantee the success to each student.
