KVG Medical College & Hospital is a private institution imparting medical education in the state of Karnataka. The institute was established in the year 2002 under the guidance of late Dr. Kurunji Venkatramana Gowda, Founder President of Academy Of Liberal Education (R), Sullia, Dakshina Kannada. The private co-educational institute is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore. It is recognized by the National Medical Commission, (NMC) New Delhi. The institute is located in Sullia in the Dakshina Kannada district of Karnataka. KVG Medical College & Hospital is sponsored by the Academy of Liberal Education, Sullia.

It is one of the largest educational complexes in India. It is a unique place of learning. The institution has 670 beds with scope of extension upto 1000 beds. Our College and Hospital is well equipped with excellent infrastructure and state of the art equipments. We have modular operation theatres having latest equipments for Endoscopic, Laparoscopic & other surgical procedures. We also have well equipped ICU,ICCU, PICU, NICU, Nephrology Section with 8 Dialysis units, laboratories including RTPCR lab, Liquid Medical Oxygen plant of capacity 6 KL. Our trauma and emergency departments function round the clock catering to all the emergencies. Radiology block is fully equipped with diagnostic and imaging modalities like16 slice CT scan, MRI-1.5 tesla etc,. Department of Dermatology has imported equipments like LASER, to uplift cosmetology and other procedures.

The institution has fully air conditioned lecture halls, well stocked central library with e-library facility.

The faculty at KVGMCH work tirelessly to train the students in various subjects to improve their knowledge and clinical skills which enable them to become good doctors. Our faculty strive hard to see a sea of youngsters who are not only equipped with degree but are also competent humane professionals whose unique selling proposition would be holistic wisdom, compassion and commitment to professional ethics. Every year, the students from KVGMC&H score ranks in RGUHS university exams. They have also won laurels in sports & other co-curricular activities. We conduct regular CME’s & conferences for updating the knowledge of our staff and students
